About the Holiday

Take your loved one or friends and family on a 7 night cruise along the Canal du Midi the Midi-Robine Cruise onboard Le Boat Caprice, from Narbonne to Trebes.

Two breath-taking canals and two regions await you on a cruise from the Mediterranean deep into the Languedoc. The waterways in the South of France paint bands of blue across green vineyards and front colourful towns, merging to create a path to utter relaxation as you stop to savour picturesque Ventenac, Le Somail, Homps and Trèbes. Your Canal du Midi cruise spans the Languedoc and the Camargue, two of the most sumptuous places in the entire world!

No Skipper's Licence Required.

Homps and Bram invite you to savour the wines of the famous Languedoc region. Beautiful vineyards beckon. It is said that fine wine is the nectar of the soul — the balance of taste, nose and eye that truly rejuvenates. On a Canal du Midi cruise deep into Languedoc, you’ll find yourself trekking amidst fields of plump purple grapes, poking into cool wine cellars, and savouring the best vintages on the sundeck in beautiful Trèbes.

A cruise along the Canal du Midi is a perfect holiday choice for friends and family looking to enjoy the wonderfully relaxed ambience of life along this beautiful, historic waterway.
Cited by many as a journey of a lifetime, a cruise along the Canal du Midi - itself a UNESCO World Heritage Site, takes you on a truly memorable journey through sun-drenched vineyards, old trading ports and the medieval towns and villages of the Languedoc Roussillon - France's most prolific wine-producing region. You'll find plenty of places to moor up for sightseeing, wine tasting and much more.
Enjoy lazy lunches at waterside restaurants and shop at colourful markets for delicious regional specialities and local wines to enjoy back on deck.

Paris is the capital city of France. It is situated on the River Seine, in northern France, at the heart of the 'le-de-France region. Paris is the most popular tourist destination in the world, with over 30 million foreign visitors per year.

The earliest archaeological and rather detailed signs of permanent habitation in the Paris area date from around 4200 BCE. The area near the river Seine was settled from around 250 BCE by the Parisii, a sub-tribe of the Celtic Senones, who were known as boatmen and traders.

Paris has an oceanic climate and is affected by the North Atlantic Current, so the city has a temperate climate that rarely sees extremely high or low temperatures.

Two of Paris' oldest and famous gardens are the Tuileries Garden, created from the 16th century for a palace on the banks of the Seine near the Louvre, and the Left bank Luxembourg Garden, another formerly private garden belonging to a chateau built for the Marie de' Medici in 1612.

The lines between cafés and bars in Paris are very blurred, with cafés where you can settle in with a beer and a croissant for breakfast and bars when you can enjoy a late night sandwich along with your cocktail. Techno, house, garage and Latino are the popular sounds of Paris and, to a lesser extent, hip-hop and drum and bass.
