About the Holiday
Itinerary
Day 1 - On arrival at the airport, your safari guide will meet you for your transfer to the camp. The transfer from the airport to the camp is approximately 45 minutes. Enjoy an afternoon/evening game drive in the park. Elephants at the lodge: from late October to mid-December, elephants walk through the lodge to visit the wild mango tree close to the reception area.
Overnight at Mfuwe Lodge (thatched chalet) with lunch, dinner & breakfast included.
Day 2, 3 & 4 - Game drive transfer to the southern region of the park (roughly 3 hours) to your camp, where we will stay for the next three nights. The camp lies on the edge of a permanent lagoon, boasting prolific wildlife and birdlife. Set out on superb walking safaris, game drives, night drives and scenic sundowner trips in the surrounding area, or settle yourself in a deckchair at camp and watch the abundance of game drawn to the lagoon. The game is excellent in this park area, and as it is in such a remote area, you are unlikely to see other vehicles.
Overnight 3 nights at Chindeni Bushcamp (chalet) with lunch, dinner, breakfast, and a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
Day 5 - Start your day with breakfast, followed by a game viewing transfer through the amazing South Luangwa National Park to Mfuwe Airport for your onward flight home (departing at 12h20, arriving at 17h00). End of service
