Rovos Rail Victoria Falls to Pretoria Itinerary:
DAY 1 | VICTORIA FALLS
Depart from Rovos Rail at Victoria Falls Station. Hand your passport to the Train Manager / Guest Services Manager for safekeeping.
Settle into the elegant surroundings of the train as the journey begins towards Kennedy. Enjoy a beautifully prepared dinner in the dining cars while travelling through the Zimbabwean countryside.

DAY 2 | HWANGE NATIONAL PARK
Enjoy a continental breakfast on board before heading out on an exciting game drive in Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe's largest wildlife area, covering approximately 1.46 million hectares.
Return to the train for lunch and continue the journey along the eastern edge of the park. The route includes an impressive 114-kilometre stretch of one of the world's longest straight railway lines, between Dete and Gwaai.
Spend the afternoon relaxing in the lounge and observation cars, with tea served on board, before enjoying another elegant dinner.

DAY 3 | MATOBO NATIONAL PARK & BEITBRIDGE
After breakfast, transfer approximately 60 minutes to Matobo National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site celebrated for its dramatic granite rock formations and ancient cultural heritage.
Explore this remarkable landscape, with evidence of human occupation dating back to the Early Stone Age, and visit the grave of Cecil John Rhodes.
Return to the train for lunch as the journey continues through beautiful baobab country. Enjoy afternoon tea in the lounge and observation cars before dinner as the train travels towards Beitbridge, the Zimbabwe - South Africa border.

DAY 4 | AT LEISURE ON BOARD
Enjoy a leisurely day aboard Rovos Rail as the train crosses the semi-arid Limpopo River Valley and travels through the diverse landscapes of Limpopo Province.
The journey continues across the Tropic of Capricorn and through the magnificent Soutpansberg Mountains, part of the UNESCO Vhembe Biosphere Reserve.
Take time to relax and enjoy the changing scenery from the observation car, indulge in afternoon tea and savour the refined onboard dining experience.

DAY 5 | PRETORIA
Enjoy a final breakfast in the dining cars as the train approaches Pretoria.
Please ensure that your luggage is ready for collection at 09:45 and that you have your passport. Breakfast is served in the dining cars until 09:30. Arrive at journeys end at Rovos Rail Station, Pretoria.
